betty white is my favorite golden girl that ever lived. with white hair and a grandma-style, she rocks the post-paleozoic era. i lovelovelove her to death!!!! the other weekend on snl, white was so funny when she called amy poehler a 'lez.' also hot right now is tina fey, who was also on the show. but back to betty.... this old woman still has the spirit of a youthful 18 year old latino man in a predominately white community- she breaks barriers...but hopefully not her own hips. as the oldest woman on snl EVER, white was the star of the show. she was also recently in "The Proposal" with sandra bullock. on golden girls, white was Rose Nyland, the sweet and naive woman from st olaf minnesota, whose heart was bigger than her brain. sweet little betty white is old but spunky, and will continue to impress the entire world, even when she dies, her name will live on. she touched the modern youth of today recently in her super bowl snickers' commercial, proving that her comedy is stronger than her depends.

Sandra Bullock recently earned herself a baby.  but this baby isn't gold and named oscar, he's black and named Louis.  Louis is a 3 month old infant from New Orleans.  Bullock stated that its like louis had been apart of her family all along.  The 45 year old actress recently won an oscar for best actress for her role in The Blind Side.  Soon after she won her golden man she adopted Louis. This little man has brought her more joy than her dick of a man, soon to be ex-husband American Chopper star Jesse James.  Allegations of James cheating on bullock emerged to the surface soon after her shining moment in the Kodak theater.  James had multiple mistresses he had been sleeping with, the "main squeeze" being a neo-nazi.  Bullock filed for divorce from James soon after.  She adopted loius last week and she loves him.  He is the shining star in her dark cold night.  Bullock is looking to the future now and leaving the past behind her.  She left the grease monkey and went to the golden man and her son for a new and better life.

Ben Roethlisberger, two time Super Bowl champion for the Pittsburgh Steelers was accused of 

sexual assault by a woman from Colorado this week.  The accuser states that while in a nightclub drinking drinks and dancing dances Big Ben sexually assaulted a woman in the club.  Roethlisberger is facing and has accepted a six game suspension at the beginning of the 2010 NFL season.  Mike Tomlin gave the suspension and Roethlisberger accepted the suspension over the weekend.  They were drinking Yegermeisters, Kamakazis, and vodka.  He was very drunk.  He could be facing a trade off in the near future because this is his second accusation.  Members of the dynamo football team have their grievances of Roethlisberger.  Claiming he is a selfish player who is focused  more on his own success than on the teams success.  Big ben will miss the first six games of next season.  to say how the team will do with his absence is undeterminable.  he is quite an asset to the team but also a major flight risk.  two seperate accusations of sexual misconduct is quite serious.  it is very bad for the steelers franchise.  rumors of Ben's trade were up in the air. he is safe for the 2010 NFL season but 2011 is a serious question.   

Dr. Seuss what the goose?

One fish two fish, red fish blue fish.  The Cat in the Hat, the Lorax, and Oh the Places you'll go, are just a couple of the magnificent stories Dr.  Seuss has written.  Dr.  Seuss's stories are not just children's stories, they're life lessons.  They teach us about love, friendship and environmentalism, among many other things.  Dr.  Seuss is the greatest children's author of all time.  Born by the name Theodor Seuss Geisel he was born March 2, 1904.  He was a doodler as a kid and his imagination grew into a wondrous world for children's literature.  His life's philosophy for life was fun. He believed in the power of imagination.  "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”  “You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”  If I could have a Church's chicken dinner with any historical figure it would'nt be the KFC colonel, it would be Dr. Seuss. He is an amazing author with a great sense of life.

Some have Christmas, the rest have 4/20.  4/20 refers to the consumption of cannabis, aka marijuana.  Marijuana refers to any arrangement of the cannabis plant to create a psychoactive drug effect on the mind.  the typical herbal form of cannabis consists of the flowers and subtending leaves and stalks of mature pistillate or female plants.  the major psychoactive chemical compound in cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol.  Marijuana is the most common drug used in the country by the youth.  4/20 is unofficially dubbed Marijuana day,  kids all over the nation collectively smoke marijuana to celebrate.  In my opinion, if marijuana can't be permanently legal in the U.S. it should at least be legal on 4/20.  kids all over are going to smoke regardless of the laws so you might as well save the police forces time and money and legalize marijuana.  If medical doctors can prescribe marijuana for their patients surely the state can prescribe it for their citizens, hell cops should smoke with the kids, create good commodore.  4/20 is a magical day for people all over the country, places like Broad Ripple will be hopping.  

green is the new pink, pink is the new green

Recently the latest philanthropic craze have been categorized into two colors, pink and green.  the cause? Breast cancer and environmentally friendly earth.  earth day is coming up and the earth is doing their part.  Being a vegetarian is one of the most Eco-friendly practices that someone can partake in.  Consuming only foods from the ground and trees, saves energy because the power used in the factories is greatly lower than the energy used in a meat factory.  Recycling and aqua friendly practices as well as your turning off the damn lights can ensure an eco-friendly lifestyle.  Earth day is April 22, 2010.  Breast cancer is the other major cause going on.  companies and charity races all over the country are taking place to help the cause.  Pink products have a proceed of their profit that go to finding a cure.  In my opinion,  two things should be changed about the cause.  the first being that breast cancer shouldn't be the most widely publicized health cause.  Breast cancer has the highest research progress rate and the highest survival rate.  New causes should emerge for less progressive cancers and diseases.  The second being all the proceeds shouldn't go to just research.  The profits should be divided up so that a portion of the proceeds go to funding for patients who can't afford their medical care i n cancer and other various diseases.  The U.S. is making big strides and we have to keep it coming.

Today on May 12, 2010 a Libyan plane crashed while trying to land in Libya.     The airline was Afriqiya Airways crashed carrying 104 passengers aboard flight 771 from Johannesburg to Tripoli just short of the Tripoli airport this morning.  Libyan transport minister Mohamed Zidan confirmed that at least 96 people died in the crash, but said a Dutch child had survived. There were no signs of any other survivors.  This crash is a terrible tragedy.  Adults and children alike died in this crash.  With summer so close teenagers get very antsy about the upcoming season.  For normal children, summer is the highlight of their year and therefore their adolescent lives.  but a tragedy like this can really put things into perspective.  American teenagers are a very selfish breed. we talk the talk but we cant walk the walk.  we say we want to help people but compared to what we could do we "don't do shit."  This tragedy is another cause that will get publicity for a couple of weeks and then be left in the dust like all other causes that America aids but is not directly involved with.  We as a nation need to use our power for good instead of evil.  instead of bombing and killing nations we should unite and restore peace, giving aid to those countries in need.  its our patriotic duty.
